An ode to Guinean craftsmanship
Tensira creates and produces high-end home linens and accessories sourced from West Africa. Our fabrics are 100% cotton, Oeko-Tex certified, spun, woven, and dyed in our workshops located in the Republic of Guinea. Respect for both people and nature is one of the core values of our brand.
Hamidou Diallo, Tensira’s co-founder, has established the brand’s workshops in Guinea, his birth country. Guided by the desire to create a sustainable economic activity for Guinean artisan communities, Tensira spins, weaves, dyes, and sews its timeless cotton creations in this country, which is an integral part of its
story.

Know-how and sustainable production
Tensira revives traditional indigo dyeing in its Guinean workshops. One linear meter of tie & dye fabric contains up to 3,600 stitches, tied and untied by hand one by one. This meticulous craftsmanship makes Tensira’s products unique and gives them a quality unmatched by industrial production.
Tensira has established a detailed quality control charter to guarantee excellence in every piece. Since 2022, our production capacity has been significantly increased through workshop modernization and expansion, without compromising the
precision and exceptional quality of our products.
ZERO WASTE PERSPECTIVE
Being owned by Tensira, the workshop can put an emphasis on up-cycling of offcuts and scrap fabrics to optimize the manufacturing process and remain as sustainable as possible. Tensira's workshops use solar panels since 2009.
